보브캣(bobcat)과 사향쥐(musk rat)의 혈투가 카메라에 포착됐다. 눈 속에서 천적과 정면으로 마주친 사향쥐는 놀랍게도 도망치기 보다는 전투를 택했다. 약 30cm 내외의 몸길이를 가진 사향쥐는 1분도 지나지 않아 보브캣에게 당했다. 사진작가 마이클 퀸톤(60)은 "보브캣은 특유의 후각 능력으로 설원 속에서 먹잇감을 잘 찾아낸다" 면서 "사향쥐를 한번에 제압한 보브캣은 '저녁감'을 입에 물고 어디론가 사라졌다"고 밝혔다.
